Sundown arrival

After chasing the sunset across the North Pole and Arctic Ocean, down into Siberia, Russia, Mongolia and finally China, our flight landed without any issues in Beijing.  I can't get my account to see pictures on my phone right now so I'll have to fill those in with words.  We had a very pretty orange sunset as got off the plane. Very orange because of the smog! Really, really bad here today.  Eyes burning bad.  Hopefully today the winds will move that out as we go to  Tiananmen Square and have a rickshaw ride to a Hutong village.  We did this before but this year we get to eat in the Hutong with the family, and have an authentic Chinese meal. The village is how families lived together for centuries.  Essentially rooms  built around a central space for gathering .
It's 5:30 in the morning Friday now and  I can't sleep so I figured I'd catch you all up. Lainey is giggling next to me watching Frozen on headphones to not wake Christina.  But she is giggling at hearing Lainey laugh.    It seems harder to adjust this time for some reason.  Guess we're 5 years older and having Lainey with us too.  We woke up Wednesday morning at 5 and didn't really sleep again until we crawled in bed about 9am Columbus time on Thursday.  So I've got some sleep in now it's time to eat.  Lainey wants marshmallows, she's at that part of the movie!!  Onward!
